In September I headed for Christchurch, this years venue for the anual conference for Dispensing Opticians of New Zealand (ADONZ). Poor Reiner, he had to stay put and mind the practice for 3 days by himself, but then again, he loves doing that. Anyway, the aim of the conference is to provide opportunity for continued education for Dispensing Opticians. The topics help us to stay in touch with the latest technologies, techniques and products available. Especially the developments in modern lens technology and associated fitting techniques are areas that we have a special interest in. To stay up to date is simply a never ending journey, or to put it some famous words “I am learning all the time. The tombstone will be my diploma” – (Eartha Kitt, a seducer of audiences).
Ah, by the way, David and Kellie who you can see posing in the picture with me are the New Zealand distributors of one of our “gem” collections – DILEM from France. The latest models came in only a few weeks ago. You can read about them in detail by clicking here.
Hi
Fellow poser here, just want to say Riener told me to look here and then just today Jeremy Wong said you guys have BYWP??? just so you know we have just taken the range on so if you need any local service give us a call.
keep well
David
David, you know us and you know that we have a soft spot for well designed and innovative frames.
Although we currently don’t stock the BYWP range, we do have a great selection of ic!berlin and MYKITA. Both ranges originate from Berlin and feature stainless steel sheet fronts and temples with no welded or screwed parts. Wonderful stuff!
Your BYWP range looks interesting as well, so I’d be looking forward to catching up with you when you are in town next (sorry I wasn’t able to see you at the conference, but Claudia made me stay in the practice).
Always the Best!
Reiner
