This morning a particularly nice example of the Lindberg Acetanium range arrived in the store. It’s model 1225 in a stunning combination of 3-ply acetate and strip titanium sides. The frame, as usual is incredibly light and of immaculate quality. The 3-ply combination of acetate is unusual with tortoishell on the outside, a yummy purple on the inside and a light grey in the middle. Inserted in the bridge are the titanium pad arms with silicon cushions that support the frames comfortably on any shaped nose.
The sides are made of matt grey strip titanium and compliment the overall simplicity and elegance of the frame. All Lindberg frames are not only a pleasure to wear, but from a technical point of view, they are always also a pleasure to work with. The fit can be individualised and optimised to give the wearer a most comfortable fit while guaranteeing that modern HD (high definition) lenses can be used to their full potential.
Hi, what is the size of the Lindberg model 1225 eyeglasses? I’m looking for ones with an approximate size of 48-51 / 16-18 / 130-140. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Sandy, the size of the Acetanium 1225 is 56-12, so the overall width from lens edge to lens edge is 124mm.
Thanks Claudia. What is the size of model 1126? I think 124mm is going to be too big for me.
Hi Sandy, Lindberg Acetanium 1126 comes in size 52-16.
