Only a few days ago I announced that we were about to add the “orgreen” range to our collection of frames and today the first frames have arrived in the practice. I don’t know why it is, but Danish frame designers seem to be getting it right. We’ve been carrying the Lindberg range of frames for quite a while now and we have recently also added the Bellinger range to our collection of frames. While at Sydney’s ODMA Fair last month I also had a chance to see this outstanding Danish range of Titanium spectacle frames – “orgreen”. The creators of this range, like Lindberg and Bellinger, also work with top grade titanium. What immediately stands out with the “orgreen” are the sculptured fronts and sides of the frames as well as the really refreshing use of colour.

You can tell an “orgreen” frame by its visionary design concept combined with absolute precision and attention to detail. One can tell that the designers wanted to get away from the boring old “every day eyeglasses” design concept and right from the beginning took a different approach to many other frame designers. Fronts and sides of the frames are treated like sculptures with a lot of respect for simple lines and features, together with absolutely top end, high quality materials and finishes. It seems that inspiration can come from anywhere from American cars to old airplanes. Stillthe end result is not anything “retro”, in the contrary, the frames ooze freshness and new ideas. We love it and we think so will you.

This range mainly consists of full and semi rimless titanium frames.
