Baush & Lomb PureVision Multifocal - LongArm Syndrome CampaignToday we received a press release from Bausch&Lomb, the manufacturers of the very popular PureVision contact lens. The company has introduced PureVision Multifocals, one of the most advanced contact lenses for presbyopia. In their campaign they refer to the condition of presbyopia by “long arm syndrome”. Ironically it’s a really fitting description of the experience many people in their mid 40s make when they can’t see close distant objects any more. Those people have in the past had to strart using reading glasses, bifocals or graduated glasses. With the introduction of the “PureVision Multifocal” contact lens there is now an alternative for those occasions where glasses are not desirable.

Certaily an interesting and viable option for that special occasion (see earlier post). If you are interested in reading more about this lens, visit the “Long Arm” by clicking here.

One Response to ““PureVision Multifocal” National Advertising Campaign about to start”

Bifocal Contacts November 29, 2009

This is great. More people should know that they can choose to wear bifocal or multifocal contacts.
