Who doesn’t know Ross Brawn, the brains behind Ferrari’s and Michael Schuhmachers many world championships? Just recently, Ross has had astonishing success with his new Brawn GP team (the ex-Honda team). It seems that he appreciates high quality materials and designs, even when it comes to his glasses.
Since the first race of the 2009 season and again today during the first practice of the Monaco Grand Prix, he is wearing a Lindberg Spririt frame.
Hi,
Glad to see you’re a Brawn fan! What shape lenses is Ross wearing here, can you tell?
Grateful for your help,
Best regards,
Bob
OK Bob,
I believe the Lindberg frame that Ross Brawn has been seen wearing for over a year now is from the Lindberg Spirit 2000 collection. This collection comes in many different shapes, temple designs, colours etc.. The one you see in the picture is most likely:
type: Spirit 2000
shape: 2057D
eye size: 52
bridge type: flat
bridge size: L
bridge colour: P10
temple type: Plate 76
temple length: 140
temple colour: U9
temple clip colour: P10
This is just a rough guess
Hi,
Many thanks for the (not so) rough guess; I have a photo of Ross I took from my TV screen, and the glasses he’s wearing seem more angular than the 2057 pattern. I’d send you the picture if I knew how!
Regards,
Bob
