Wouldn’t you agree that accidents usually happen when you least expect or need them? Of course they do. This also applies to glasses. It makes no difference if it’s a standard Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning, Christmas Day, or New Years Day. If you do have an accident with your glasses it will most probably happen on one of those days. How do I know? Easy, because every Monday or Tuesday the emergencies arrive in our workshop for first aid treatment.Today is no different, in the contrary. The very first customer we had on the morning of May 20th, 2009 (the first day we were open for business) was a local lady who had lost one of the nosepads of her glasses. When she came into the shop, she looked slightly distressed and her glasses were sitting lopsided on her face. A very sore spot had already  developed on the left side of her nose. Often what seems to be an almost impossible task for the unlucky client, turns out to be a simple task for the trained optician. Mind you, sometimes glasses really are beyond repair after having been sat on. But in many cases they are repairable.
