In the last post post about my experience with the Kodak Unique AntiFatigue lenses, I included a picture where I am wearing a frame from the “me” collection of MarkusT. The Hon. Phil Goff, leader of the opposition, visited Motueka today. The occasion was the opening of the new electorate office of Labour List MP Damien O’Connor. Only a few days ago I announced that we were about to add the “orgreen” range to our collection of frames and today the first frames have arrived in the practice. I don’t know why it is, but Danish frame designers seem to be getting it right. We’ve been carrying the Lindberg range of frames for quite a while now and we have recently also added the Bellinger range to our collection of frames. While at Sydney’s ODMA Fair last month I also had a chance to see this outstanding Danish range of Titanium spectacle frames – “orgreen”. The creators of this range, like Lindberg and Bellinger, also work with top grade titanium. What immediately stands out with the “orgreen” are the sculptured fronts and sides of the frames as well as the really refreshing use of colour. ... read more

We have added another Danish range of spectacle frames to our collection. The frames are designed in Denmark and made in Japan. That in itself is not unusual as many frames these days are made of titanium because of it’s strenght, lightness and anti-alergenic properties. What is unusual and refreshing about the “Orgreen” frames is the sculptured design, the finish and the choice of colours – like a breath of fresh air! ... read more

The short answer is: we all wear spectacles by a small Danish company called Lindberg. You want to know why? Is it because they have a fancy label on the side that is “in”, “trendy” or whatever? Is it because they are so expensive that only the rich and famous can afford them? The answer to all those questions is no. It’s because with only 1.9 grams in weight, the frames would have to be the lightest and most comfortable frames one could wear. ... read more
