The Hon. Phil Goff, leader of the opposition, visited Motueka today. The occasion was the opening of the new electorate office of Labour List MP Damien O’Connor. Mr. Goff spent most of the afternoon in the area and took the opportunity to visit, amongst others, Woollaston Estate, Mahana School, Motueka High School and Claudia K Opticians. Only a few days ago I announced that we were about to add the “orgreen” range to our collection of frames and today the first frames have arrived in the practice. I don’t know why it is, but Danish frame designers seem to be getting it right. We’ve been carrying the Lindberg range of frames for quite a while now and we have recently also added the Bellinger range to our collection of frames. While at Sydney’s ODMA Fair last month I also had a chance to see this outstanding Danish range of Titanium spectacle frames – “orgreen”. The creators of this range, like Lindberg and Bellinger, also work with top grade titanium. The short answer is: we all wear spectacles by a small Danish company called Lindberg. You want to know why? Is it because they have a fancy label on the side that is “in”, “trendy” or whatever? Is it because they are so expensive that only the rich and famous can afford them? The answer to all those questions is no.
